Create a Space participants can join even when the host is not present

In many situations, you'll want to leave your Space available for participants to join, even when the host is not present in the space.

Standard InSpace sessions require that the session host launch the session before other participants can join. Check out this article to see how participants can join your session if you are using an LMS.

To create a Space that any participant can join, even when the host is not present or available, please follow these steps.

1. Open your InSpace dashboard.

2. Locate the Space that you'd like to make available to participants at any time.

3. Click on the ellipses icon "..." next to the Space name to edit the Space settings. Select 'Edit Settings.'

4. On the settings page, locate the checkbox labeled 'Allow participants to join even when the host is not in the space.' Check the box.

This setting allows anyone with access to the Space to join without the host. You can set your Space access permissions to Open, Public, Organizational, or Specific Audience to customize who can access the Space.

5. Save your Space settings. Now, anyone with access to your Space can launch the session, even when the host is not in the Space.
