InSpace Room Configurations & Space Types

This quick reference summarizes the InSpace room configurations and space types available on the platform.

1. InSpace Room Configurations


The following configurations are only available inside of Single Spaces (standalone or connected to an Experience Hub, see chart 2 for details). 

Single Space Configuration

How it works

Proximity Audio

No Room

An open Space where all participants can move freely and interact.

When Proximity Audio is on, participants can separate into clusters. Each group can have its own conversation and be seen and heard only by those nearby.

Presentation Room

A single Breakout Room inside a Space with seats for participants; it launches when content is shared into a ‘No Room’ setup.


Outside of the Presentation Room, there is a Hallway audio-isolated from the large room. 


The Presentation Room can be locked by the Host.

When Proximity Audio is on, the Hallway can support multiple simultaneous clusters of conversation. 


Inside the Presentation Room, Proximity Audio does not apply

Discussion Room

A Single Breakout Room inside a Space with a large video display on attendee circles. Great for small group conversations where eye contact and expressions are key. 


Content can be shared into the center of this room. 


The Hallway is audio-isolated from the Discussion Room.


The Discussion Room can be locked by the Host.

When Proximity Audio is on, the Hallway can support multiple simultaneous clusters of conversation. 


Inside the Discussion Room, Proximity Audio does not apply

Breakout Rooms (2-10 available)

Multiple Breakout Rooms inside a Space. Participants can move freely between the rooms by dragging their circle. 


Content can be shared to the front of the Space and inside individual Breakout Rooms. 


Outside of the Breakout Rooms, there is an audio-isolated Hallway. 


Breakout Rooms can be locked by the host. 

When Proximity Audio is on, the Hallway can support multiple simultaneous clusters of conversation. 


Inside Breakout Rooms, Proximity Audio does not apply

Experience Hub

InSpace Dashboard

A landing page with up to 24 connected Single Spaces for up to 500 attendees

Auditorium

InSpace Dashboard or as an add-on to Experience hub

An interactive presentation room that can stand alone or connect to an Experience Hub for up to 500 attendees and 6 active speakers.

Anyone with the link who signs into a free InSpace account - security may be adjusted to limit access.
